{Poem} Ilse of Vanamir
Permalink

This poem is a legond from a far off land. Since I usualy don't finnish writtings this was really amazing for me.

Listen young friend, of forgoten tales
Of mighty kings, low windy sales
Who came in ships, upon our shore
And offered friendship, as kings of valor
Yet Prince with greed, and dark allure
Set slander in the mind of th' Rulor
In secret he took the pendants rare
The priceless jewels, and armor fair
Blood was spilled of many brave
The stars watched on as none were saved
Only a child, awake in the night
Found refuge, beyond the haunting fight
Fated to wander, for the forest calls
Her heirs ever seeking the mystic halls
Often to wonder of what lies behind
A vast story they shall never find
Across the sea their secret dear
The lost ilse of Vanamir
